Suppliers remain responsible for the accuracy of their business information, product specifications, licences, certifications, quality, quantity, packaging, pricing, production, shipment and contractual obligations.
Buyers remain responsible for their purchase decisions, product specifications, commercial agreements, payments, customs/import requirements, duties, taxes, transportation arrangements and applicable regulatory requirements.
Supplier verification and inspection are intended to provide information and evidence within the agreed scope. Verification does not guarantee future supplier performance, financial condition, product quality, shipment condition, delivery or transaction completion.
Unless separately agreed in writing, MapleSilk is not responsible for freight loss, damage, shortage, contamination, moisture, deterioration, theft, customs detention, transportation delays, carrier performance or other shipment-related events.
Photography, videography, container-loading observation and container-sealing documentation are not guaranteed. Such activities depend on supplier approval, site rules, safety requirements and circumstances.
Where third-party services are used, including freight, transportation, testing, insurance, customs or other professional services, those services remain subject to the third party's own terms and responsibilities.
MapleSilk does not guarantee that a supplier will accept an order, maintain a quoted price, meet production or delivery requirements, maintain product quality, complete a transaction or continue doing business with a buyer.
Depending on the engagement, MapleSilk may require separate buyer, supplier, procurement, inspection, confidentiality and/or non-circumvention agreements before providing specific services.
